And the race is on for the chickens...AHHHH! Go Riley, Bryn, Nate, Reagan & Landon!
The kids had great seats - right in front of the action!
The rodeo animals were pretty fascinating to all!
How about our cute little crew of kids!?! We definitely had a fun time at the Gunlock Rodeo. It was such a highlight for Nate to be able to introduce his Jorgensen cousins to the "chicken chase" - however, we didn't have any luck in catching one. Landon got VERY close and instead of picking it up, he swung his leg back, and "POW" he kicked it! Feathers went flying everywhere!...poor chicken! Right after that, the announcer asked everyone to please be gentle and kind to the chickens - it was hilarious! However, the reason why Landon kicked the chicken instead of picking it up was because Grandma Lulu whispered into his ear just before he went out for the race to just kick it rather that pick it up! Thanks Grandma! It was GREAT!
