Success or not, it doesn't get much more fun than hunting with two of the best kids in the whole wide world! They had a great time and they make for great company on a four wheeler ride.
Between Chris, Grampie and Uncle Mark, Mark was the only one who enjoyed success this year! He got a nice buck, but somehow he killed it by shooting the base of its horn off. All we could figure is that he must have broken it's neck, because there was no other injury or bullet in his body and immediately after Mark shot, the horn flew off and the buck spun in a circle and collapsed to the ground...talk about a clean kill! Mark got dirty when he had to gut it! Great job Mark! Hopefully we can taste victory next year! (we'll definitely keep our fingers crossed for Chris!)
