We had a nice visit with Uncle Heber for the last time. Of course, we didn't know it was going to be the last time. In addition to our regular visits, we always made it a point for each Holiday to take a little something special to him to let Uncle Heber know that we cared for him. The kids really enjoyed giving gifts to him, and of course Uncle Heber always shared any treat we gave him with the kids.
Uncle Heber's walker was always one of Nate's favorite things to play with. If it wasn't him on it, then he was pushing Bryn on it. The kids brought such happiness and joy to Uncle Heber. And whether he knew it or not, he did the same for them. They always got smiles on their faces when it was time to go visit Uncle Heber. They got to know Sterling Court and Red Cliffs very well, especially the birds and fish.
